  • Reception to Save the California Commission on the Status of Women

    • Gov. Brown has proposed eliminating the 50 year old Commission on the Status of Women.  To raise funds to keep the Commission going, the California NOW Foundation is holding a reception on Feb 22.  Individual tickets are $125 (there are also sponsorships available and an earlier VIP reception for sponsors).  Tax deductible.  Actress Geena Davis will be there.  For further information or to make a reservation, email Melahat Rafiei at melahat@canowfoundation.org or call (949) 350-7733.  This is not a WIL event.
